Our Hunting Grounds
Blue Water Flyways hunts the full stretch of Michigan's Thumb — from the diver duck waters of Lake St. Clair to the dry fields that stretch to Saginaw Bay. Across this range, we have access to over 40,000 acres of prime hunting ground, however most hunts take place in Sanilic County.
That access lets us hunt where the birds actually are, not just where we happen to have permission. We're scouting fresh fields regularly through the season — freshly picked corn/standing corn, wheat stubble, and everything in between — so you're hunting active feeds, not yesterday's spot.
The variety in our territory means variety in the hunt. Some days that's a classic dry-field goose shoot over freshly harvested ground; other days it's diver ducks working open water. Whatever the birds and the season call for, our range across the Thumb gives us the flexibility to put you on it.
