What will I need to bring?

All you will need to bring is appropriate clothing for weather conditions, your gun, and choice of ammunition everything else is provided.  

Will my guide clean my birds?

yes! part of our fully included hunts is your guide processing your harvest for you.

Where will I meet my guide?

your guide will contact you the day prior to your hunt and let you know where to meet them at the morning of your hunt. 

Does BWF offer afternoon hunts?

yes, we offer both afternoon and morning hunts.

Does BWF offer discounts?

yes, BWF offers discounts for active service members, veterans, all first responders, and children under the age of 15.

When are the season dates?

Michigan's waterfowl season for the 2025-26 season are as fallows and we are available all season. 

Early goose sept 1-30

Regular season October 18- December 14 

Late season split December 27- January 4

Late goose season January 31- February 9

What is a "combo" trip?

A combo trip is a trip dedicated to hunting a combination of both ducks and geese

 

 

What hunting license do I need?

You will need a Michigan Base Hunting License, a Waterfowl License, and a Federal Migratory Bird Hunting Stamp

Our cancelation policy

Our demand exceeds our supply... When you book a date, we end up turning away other customers that want that date. As such deposits are NON RERFUNDABLE. Also, deposits are for the number you specify. For example, if you send in a deposit for 6 hunters and only 4 show up, the other 2 hunter's deposit is forfeited and cannot be credited towards the balance due on the four hunters.

Can I bring my dog?

We have a strict no dog policy because we can't 100% guarantee the safety of someone's dog being that all dogs behave and respond differently. we will not assume that kind of responsibility.

what kind of shells do I bring?

You will need steel/non-toxic, tungsten, or bismuth ammo. These shells will need to be #4 shot or larger.
